What is GITA?
GITA is a computer science course offered at BOHS. Students are taught multiple languages such as C#, HTML/CSS, Flash, and many others. GITA does not teach everything there is to know, however. It is meant to provide an environment where students' curiosity and problem solving skills take root. GITA is divided between four courses. The first course (GITA 1) learns how to use c# in Visual Studios. The second course (GITA 2) uses JavaScript. The third course (GITA 3, this course!) learns the Flash language using Flash CS3 AS3. And the fourth course learns Java in preperation for the AP Computer Science Exam.
About Me!
My name is Enzo La, and I am a sophomore at BOHS. Some of my goals this year is to become active on campus in clubs, organizations, and events. Due to a scheduling conflict, I decided to switch my GITA 3 and GITA 2 classes around, meaning I will be taking GITA 2 next year as a junior. I hope to maintain Straight A's throughout all of high school and to excel in everything I do. In addition to taking many rigorous courses (Honors Precalculus, Honors Chemistry, AP European History, and Honors English), I am currently involved in many clubs on campus, serving on the leadership board for five clubs. An active member of the BOHS marching band, I dedicate 7 hours every week to rehearsals. Enjoy my website!
